Privacy policy
Last updated: 4 September 2026
This policy explains what personal information LINE VA collects through this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. LINE VA is a trading name of Line Consultancy FZC, a company registered in the United Arab Emirates (trade licence 4309327.01), with operations in Dubai, UAE and Cebu, Philippines.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you submit the contact form on this site, we collect the name and work email address you enter and the option you select describing what you are looking to solve. If you contact us by email, WhatsApp or Viber, we receive whatever information you choose to share in that message.
Information collected automatically. When the contact form is submitted, we also record the page it was sent from, your browser's user-agent string, and the date and time. Our website host may log technical data such as your IP address as a normal part of delivering the website.
This website does not set cookies, does not run advertising or analytics tracking, and serves all fonts and assets from our own domain — so it makes no third-party requests as you browse.
2. Why we use it, and our legal basis
We use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry, prepare a proposal, and deliver our services if you become a client. Where the EU/UK GDPR applies, our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services, and your consent in submitting the form. Where the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) applies, we process the data to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and on the basis of your consent.
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only with:
- Google LLC / Google Cloud (Firebase), which hosts this website and stores contact-form submissions on our behalf as our data processor. Data may be processed on Google's servers in various countries.
- Our own staff in the UAE and the Philippines who handle enquiries and client work.
- Authorities or professional advisers, only where we are required to by law.
4. International transfers
Because our team is in the UAE and the Philippines and our infrastructure is provided by Google, your information may be transferred to and stored in countries outside your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Google's standard contractual clauses.
5. How long we keep it
We keep contact-form submissions for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards — normally up to 24 months — in case you get back in touch, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Client records are kept for as long as you are a client and for the period we are legally required to retain business records afterwards.
6. Your rights
Wherever you are, you can ask us to give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. To make a request, email info@linegroupuae.com. We respond within the time required by the law that applies to you, and we will not charge you or treat you differently for exercising these rights. We do not sell or "share" personal information as those terms are defined under any privacy law.
EU / EEA and UK. Under the GDPR and UK GDPR you also have the right to data portability, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (for example, the ICO in the UK or your national data protection authority in the EU).
United Arab Emirates. Under Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 you may withdraw consent, object to processing, and complain to the UAE Data Office.
United States. Residents of California and other states with privacy laws may request access to, deletion of, and correction of their personal information, and may opt out of any sale or sharing — we do neither. We do not use your information for targeted advertising or profiling.
Australia. Under the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles you may request access to and correction of your personal information and may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
Singapore. Under the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 you may withdraw consent and request access to and correction of your personal information, and may raise concerns with the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC).
Canada. Under PIPEDA you may request access to and correction of your personal information and may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (OPC).
7. Security
Access to submitted information is limited to authorised team members and is protected by authentication and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
8. Children
This website and our services are intended for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
9. Third-party links
This site links to WhatsApp and Viber. Once you leave our site, this policy no longer applies; those services have their own privacy policies.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed, and any significant change will be reflected on this page.
